If you want to complain about the way your compensation claim has been handled, you have to follow these steps: -

You must first complain to your solicitor.
Step 2

If you are unhappy about the way the Law Society has dealt with your complaint you can then complain to the Legal Services Ombudsman. The Ombudsman is entirely independent of the legal profession and the service is free.
